讲座专家Sotirios Theofanis简介：
Dr. Sotirios Theofanis is an internationally acknowledged expert, manager and academic in the fields of freight transport, logistics and ports. He has a unique blend of extensive administrative, high level managerial, consulting and academic experience in the fields of port planning, management and operations, as well as in freight, intermodal and maritime transport.
He is Managing Partner, MARLOGMIND PC, Greece; Honorary Professor, University of York, School of Management, UK; Adjunct Professor, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Affiliated Faculty, Center for Advanced Infrastructure & Transportation (CAIT), Rutgers University, NJ, USA; Member, Board of Governors, University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece.
Ex – Chairman of the BoD & CEO of Thessaloniki Port Authority SA (ThPA SA) (2018-2020); Ex – Chairman & CEO of the BoD of Piraeus Port Authority SA (PPA SA) (2002 – 2004); Ex – CEO ThPA SA (1999 – 2002), he led the efforts for the corporatization and the Stock Listing of ThPA SA (2001) and PPA SA (2003). Expert, Head of Planning Unit, and Director for Ports in the Ministry of Merchant Marine, Greece (1986 -1999). In April 2019, he has been selected as Port Professional of the month in Europe, by the European Seaports Organisation (ESPO).
He holds a Degree in Civil Engineering (MEng) from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece; a MSc in Environmental Engineering and Technology from University of Birmingham, UK; a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in European and International Law (specialization in Port Concessions) from Frederick University, Cyprus; a Diploma in Port Senior Management from Galilee College, Israel; and PhD in Port and Maritime Logistics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.

Dr. Maria Boile is Professor of Port Policy and Management and Director of the Quantitative Analysis in Shipping Laboratory, at the University of Piraeus, Department of Maritime Studies. She is Head of the Shipping and Ports Unit at the Hellenic Institute of Transport, Center for Research and Technology in Greece, Affiliated Faculty member at the Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation (CAIT) at Rutgers University, New Jersey, and Coordinator of the European Waterborne Technology Platform.
